Front End Developer

Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and troubleshoot interfaces and functionality utilizing the appropriate cross-browser software and programming methodology

Maintain and modify existing interfaces and functionality; make approved changes by amending workflows, develop detailed programming logic and coding changes

Understand and utilize coding standards to create and update pages

Build new interfaces following modern layout and coding methodologies while conforming to usability requirements

Evaluate relationships between both the client and the server to determine process and system improvements to help reduce page size while increasing page speed, delivery, and interaction

Analyze performance and usability of interfaces and act to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor

Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls

Write and maintain programming documentation

Requirements:

1 to 3 years of experience in building responsive HTML web pages

Solid working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS3, SASS/LESS

Working knowledge of PHP, C#, or Java preferred

Experience working in an Agile or iterative approach to delivery preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs
